Hisense U8G and H8G Differences
Besides a number of similarities that we have talked before, we can find that there are few differences between Hisense U8G and H8G. Let’s talk more about those differences together.
1. Number of Local Dimming Zones and Brightness Level
While they both come with Full Array LED backlight that completed with local dimming zones, we can find that the number of local dimming zones integrated with Hisense U8G and H8G are different. Hisense U8G comes with up to 360 local dimming zones while Hisense H8G only comes with up to 90 local dimming zones. We can also find that the brightness level of Hisense U8G and H8G are different. Hisense U8G comes with up to 1500 nits peak brightness while Hisense H8G comes with up to 700 nits. With more local dimming zones and higher peak brightness, Hisense U8G is able to delivers better contrast vibrancy and more superior light uniformity across its LED screen.
2. Motion Technology
The motion technology integrated with Hisense U8G and H8G are different. Hisense U8G comes with Motion Rate 480 that based on 120Hz native refresh rate while Hisense H8G comes with Motion Rate 240 that based on 60Hz native refresh rate. We can find that Hisense U8G is completed with more advanced gaming technology than Hisense H8G. Hisense U8G already supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), FreeSync and G-Sync while Hisense H8G only supports Auto Low Latency Mode. Hisense U8G also comes with HDMI 2.1 that we can’t find in Hisense H8G. With VRR, FreeSync and G-Sync support that completed with HDMI 2.1, we can enjoy more immersive gaming experience when we use Hisense U8G as our gaming monitor.
4. Remote Control
Both of Hisense U8G and Hisense H8G already come with Voice Remote Control, but they are indeed different in version. Hisense H8G already comes with voice remote control although it’s not completed with backlit.
